A graduate of Bay Shore High School, Kenny Barnes arrives at Sage this fall. He is a former varsity letterwinner in boys' soccer and was tapped as the rookie of the year as a freshman in 2007.

A team captain for the 2010 team, he earned all-league honors in both 2009 and 2010, while playing his sophomore and junior seasons as a member of the Bay Shore High School team.

A psychology major at Sage, he is the younger brother of Stephanie Barnes, a senior on the St. John's University track and field team. He is the son of Keith and Cathy Barnes.
